What is Geeky Minds?
Geeky Minds is an educational program aimed at breaking down barriers to access education in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) for young people from underrepresented communities. We focus on promoting gender equity and providing an inclusive environment for Latino youth, women, and people of all gender identities, creating opportunities for a bright future in STEAM careers.
Our Approach
At Geeky Minds, we believe that learning should be dynamic, hands-on, and future-focused. That’s why our approach is built on three key pillars:
Dynamic Learning
Through theme-based seminars and interactive workshops, our participants learn alongside inspiring professionals. Hands-on activities allow students to gain knowledge through real-world experience.
STEAM Exploration
Geeky Minds connects young people with the careers of the future, helping them understand how STEAM fields are linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), inspiring them to be part of global solutions.
Skills for Success
We focus on developing key competencies such as leadership, innovation, creativity, as well as soft skills like communication, teamwork, and resilience, preparing our youth for a future full of opportunities.
